Warranty Exclusions

Any of the following conditions void the warranty

• Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
• Products not purchased from an authorized retailer or legitimate sales channel.
• Products not installed, handled or maintained as explicitly outlined in the CHIMEI user manual supplied with the product.
• „X Damage, deterioration or malfunction caused by :
  • Humidity, water, dropping, external disturbances, or missing parts.
  • Unforeseen element damage such as natural disasters or other external causes.
  • Repair or attempted repair by anyone but Authorized CHIMEI repair technicians.
  • Product damage caused by transportation.
  • Image burn-in, caused by static (non-moving) images or non-default aspect ratio displayed for extended periods of time.
  • Defects caused by external peripherals.

LCD Panel Bright / Dead Spot Warranty & Regulation

LCD panels are made up of millions of tiny electronic pixels. Pixels that malfunction can either become dead spots, or permanently lit. The industry average LCD yield rate is about 90%, and the industry standard acceptance spot level is below 10 defective bright/dead pixels per display.

Because of CHIMEI¡¦s relentless pursuit of excellence and dedication to delivering the ultimate visual experience, CHMEI conforms to a higher acceptance standard of no more than 3 defective bright/dead pixels per display. Panels with less than or equal to 3 bright/dead spots are considered as an acceptable LCD monitor.
